Are you one of the many people who find that footwear with a thong strap pinches the feet?
At Yukimito, we design our straps to be thicker by inserting cushioning material into the core.
The cushioning softens the contact points, while the thicker design spreads the pressure over a wider area, helping to reduce that tight, pinching sensation.
Use of low-resilience material
The top board where you place your feet comes standard with a thicker-than-usual resilient material (excluding top boards with wrapped edges).
Since this is where your feet rest, our goal is to reduce fatigue and provide the most comfortable feel possible.
An upgrade to an even thicker resilient material is also available as an option.
Commitment to meeting specific needs
We began offering bespoke setta sandals out of a desire to "deliver a pair that perfectly matches each customer's individual needs."
On our e-commerce site, in addition to selecting materials and designs, you can also adjust the length of the toe thong and change the insole to a high-rebound material.

Sandals for everyday wear
Setta sandals are often thought of as footwear reserved only for special occasions like wearing a kimono or yukata. To make them feel more accessible and versatile, we have intentionally selected casual patterns and materials.
For the soles, we use materials that are cushioned and slip-resistant to make them comfortable for walking on asphalt and concrete surfaces.
We plan to continue adding new materials in the future, with the hope that you will feel more at home with setta sandals.
Recycled material foot boxes, scrap fabric tags
The shoe box is made from recycled materials, and the tags are made from fabric scraps.
It’s nothing as grand as the SDGs, but we strive for eco-friendly, zero-waste manufacturing, even if it’s just a little bit.
Each tag is embossed by hand with care.
