We will introduce the manufacturing process.
The parts that make up geta sandals are broadly divided into three parts : the strap, the top, and the bottom .
As you may know, the "thong" is the part that is held between the big toe and index toe to attach the geta to the foot.
The "top" is the part that you place your feet on. It can be made of a variety of materials and patterns, such as tatami, bamboo, fabric, or synthetic leather.
The "bottom" is the part that is attached to the underside of the tabletop and comes into contact with the ground. In the past, leather was often used. Nowadays, cushioned and non-slip materials are often used.
The "thong" is inserted (attached) to the "top" and the "bottom" is glued together to complete the shoe.
You may think, "Wow, that's so easy!" But making the "thong" and "top" requires detailed manual work in many steps, and attaching the "sole" requires careful consideration of the mixture and compatibility of the adhesive and material, as well as the tension of having to make a quick decision when gluing them together...all of these tasks require skill.
All our craftsmen are working hard to make these shoes, hoping that everyone will wear them. If you have any questions or inquiries, please contact us via our official LINE account . Please feel free to contact us.
